Hi, I'm Erika
and I help adults and couples in LA get unstuck so that they can feel and live better.
I believe anyone can heal and rid themselves of the barriers that undermine their joy, self-worth and inner peace. I work with adults who are challenged with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. Whether you're seeking therapy to process concerns as they arise throughout the week or you're looking to resolve more specific challenges, I offer a safe and compassionate space to help you make sense of your experience utilizing holistic and evidence based therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs.
My Background and Orientation
I received my master’s degree in Marital Family Therapy with a specialization in Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Psychology & Social Behavior and Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine.
As a bilingual community mental health therapist, I've gained extensive experience providing trauma-informed care and strength-based therapy to many individuals and families of diverse culture, education, and economic backgrounds in Los Angeles. I am trained in mindfulness-based psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
