Hi, I'm Violet
and I help adults & couples manage the distress and disruptions brought upon by life changes and trauma.
During your time in therapy, we will work together using creative problem-solving to untangle the thorny thoughts and feelings that are keeping you from living your best life. Though my approach is evidenced-based and holistic, I fully believe in meeting my clients “where they’re at” while tailoring their therapeutic experience accordingly.
I've been fortunate to work with clients who've struggled with a wide range of life and emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. It's an honor to guide my clients who've been through significant life changes or trauma and want help in understanding themselves and learning what they can do to further their healing.
Background and Orientation
I am a Los Angeles native, and received my master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Aside from private practice, I also serve as a clinician for the Department of Mental Health at one of their outpatient adult clinics, working mostly with adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses. My experiences working in community mental health have greatly shaped my clinical orientation; which is trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and strengths-based. I am passionate about working to solve the homelessness crisis, and broadening access to quality mental health care.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker #78369 - supervised by Erika Moreira, LMFT #101392
